Story

Joshua Haas passed away very abruptly and very unexpectedly from heart failure Monday evening. He was blessed to have passed peacefully in his sleep. He was expected to pick up his youngest daughter, Trinity, from school on Tuesday. When he didn’t arrive on time, we knew something was wrong because he would absolutely never leave her stranded or forget about her. We went to his day job and found out that he had also not been to work that day, so we drove to his new apartment to check on him. What we found was that Josh had passed away while sleeping. He has had heart complications as of late and had heart surgery last month. He also had all of his teeth removed a week afterward, as the doctors told him after the heart surgery he would be clear to have the tooth surgery. His heart was not strong enough at the time for all of these things. He was working a full-time job and a part-time job, adding up to about 70 hours a week, plus taking care of his daughter and helping me with several things, as well as all of the things he did for his friends on a daily basis. I really had no idea just how much he had been taking care of until you all reached out. He was an absolutely amazing man, father, and friend. He will be missed, and his memory cherished. We are devasted and left without our patriarch. Josh and I were best friends and we had each other’s back through thick and thin. I wish I could take on this incredible financial burden on my own, but it just isn’t possible. My daughter and I were already struggling financially when this occurred. We are trying our best to work things out. Josh always had a way of figuring things out and helping others. This is something I try to never do, but I need help. We cannot provide the necessary finances for his services. The cost for what we have arranged, which is pretty much the bare minimum, is up to $7,785. I need help. We need help. We love and appreciate you all so much. Even $1 is helpful at this time. ~NFA~
